Learn About Us
The Beginning
Dylan and Chris originally met doing one of two things every boaters does; using their boat or going to buy parts to fix their boat.
We met while walking into the Boat Owners Warehouse during the weekend, which tells you we were buying parts for our boat to work on them.

We're a team of ocean loving boaters. We both live aboard our own vessels now but started our boating adventures at a young age.
We both love nature, the ocean and the wonderful things they have to offer. We both strive to make the environment better then when we got there.

(Chris) I grew up in a small town, actually a hamlet, in upstate New York called Jack's Reef. It's located about 17 miles west of Syracuse, NY along Seneca River. Being in and around the water has been a love since as long as I can remember. Growing up, my brother and I were fortunate that our parents could afford a power boat. Dad was a motor head, so naturally his boat had to have a big block V8 and be LOUD or he wasn't interested. The majority of my childhood memories are hearing the rumble of wet exhaust out the transom as the engine fired up Saturday morning. Followed by loading of coolers, mom mandating the sun tan lotion ritual as the river widened on the way down the river. We did a lot of tubing or skiing behind the boat, standing in knee high water at the African Queen sandy beach until sunset. We ended these nights by racing back to the house for a grilled dinner, shower, and zonk on the couch, then repeat on Sunday if weather permitted.

I had a handful of small boats as a child. As I grew up, I helped repair the wooden gunwales on a canoe at an early age. I finally bought a tin boat of my own because I wanted something with an outboard. With a 5hp Johnson on the back I was off in search for every largemouth bass in the river. Soon I had "2 foot-itis" and NEEDED more speed. I went on from there to a 1953 13' white house fiberglass runabout oldie but goodie with a 60hp, which I heavily modified. Then one day out enjoying the ride, I lost the outboard off the back...retrieved the outboard, and continued to modify it until finally selling it. I enjoyed sailing on our 16' Hobie cat, then we purchased a 42' Pearson 424 sailboat of which we have lived on since 2018. We have had a handful of dinghies, and a 15' Hobie power Skiff.

I've moved away from the water twice in my life, once for college then returned to riverside. The second time I moved away was when my girlfriend Amanda, who is now my wife, when we moved into our house in the suburbs together.
I've always had this extreme draw to be on the water.
My wife and I moved our custom carpentry business from Upstate NY to Fort Lauderdale back in 2017. I've been re-united with the water and we're here to stay. We do everything in our power to help maintain the water life and quality of the water around us so that generations will be able to enjoy it long after we're gone.
