All parts are designed to fit together and snap into place in one way.  Make sure all parts are oriented correctly and connect securely before walking on.  Follow the directions carefully when assembling the steps.  Do not use steps if you notice any movement.  Make sure all parts are locked and secure.  Ensure the surface steps are being placed on is reliable and safe.  Additional traction padding may be required on some surfaces.  The liability of assembly and installation falls upon the owner/operator of the steps.  Stowaway Steps is not liable.
